Habersham Mills Family Adventure

The toddler life is wild and exciting. If you have (or have had) one, you know what I mean. You have to worry about saving them from imminent death constantly. It’s terrifying and adorable at the same time.

My little family and I traveled up to Habersham Mills in North Georgia to do a family shoot for a new client of mine, the Ganims. We had the best time connecting because we both have babies that are days apart from each other. I included some photos of our babies’ bonding at the start of this gallery. It was too cute.

It was also stressful because we were in an abandoned, industrial type location with sharp pipes and chains at every corner. Thankfully, due to our amazing parenting skills, all the toddlers survived. And the next day we got some incredible exploring/shooting time around the grounds.

This shoot was a huge a breath of fresh air for me creatively. I felt refreshed shooting these and editing them. I don’t want it to end. I think I am definitely going to print some of these - to enjoy them and to use them as an example to upcoming clients what your prints could look like.

What do you think about this shoot? Would you even do a cool industrial shoot with your family here? :)
