The Mitchell's: A Bump to Home Journey

The first time I digitally met Julie over FaceTime, I knew that her photoshoots would be so special. She had such a kind spirit, and fun personality. I knew we’d get along. Her and her husband Chuck wanted something to capture each special stage for family that lived far away. So they chose an all inclusive package that followed their parenthood journey from bump to home. It included a maternity session in the city-forest of Atlanta, a quick and sacred hospital session the day after their baby was born, and a longer newborn lifestyle session in the two weeks after birth.

I can honestly say this was one of my favorite package shoots to date. As I was putting together this blog post, I swooned over each photo! I promise I’m not vain or prideful, I just sincerely love these photos haha. I really pushed myself to get creative with each session and put effort into capturing their unique narrative. The result is so special to me.

Another reason this is one of my favorites is the fact that it was a package. It was set up in a way that I was able to create a relationship with Julie and Chuck over time, and follow them through their journey. They were able to get to know me, and by the time that I was at their house, we were all so comfortable with each other.

Y’all I really recommend getting an all inclusive photo package like this! It’s the best way to get full coverage of your journey, and have someone that your comfortable with there during the beautiful and raw first moments of parenthood.
